Photo and video policy

We take the privacy of our students and their families very seriously.

Before engaging in any activities with our school (e.g. group class, individual lessons or holiday programs), all parents will have the chance to indicate whether they give permission for photos or videos of their child to be used on our social media pages or our website.

In choosing YES, parents are giving consent to 'Ellison String Studio' to use images or videos taken for the reason of publicity, updating social media, web content or advertising.

In giving this consent, there is also an understanding that the images or videos containing your child shall be used in a responsible fashion and that your child will never be identified by name to protect their privacy.

Images captured which are not uploaded online shall never be disclosed to any other party without my and your written consent.

In choosing NO, parents understand that no images or videos of their child will be published anywhere online. If your child happens to be in a group photo with other children, then their face in the photo will be blurred or have a smiley face placed over it for their privacy.

By reading this policy, parents are agreeing to the above mentioned.
