End of Year Group Performance
We will be holding our very first End of year Group performance on Sunday 23rd November. More details to come.
Term 3 Solo Recital
Solo recitals provide our students with the opportunity to gain confidence and experience at performing a solo in front of a friendly and encouraging crowd.
Term 3 Recitals will be on Saturday 13th September @ 2pm, Saturday 13th September @ 4pm, Sunday 14th September @ 2pm and Sunday 14th September @ 4pm.
Winter Camp
Our next Holiday Program is the “Winter Camp 2025” from Monday 14 July - Thursday 17 July. It is four full days from 9am - 3pm, where parents can drop their kids off to ‘music school.’
There will be lots of fun music activities for the children to take part including Suzuki Group Classes, a guest Suzuki teacher, percussion incursion, reading, theory, improvisation, rhythm and ear training, singing etc.
Open to Suzuki Violin students at a minimum of Minuet 1 in Book 1 up to Suzuki Book 5.

Term 2 Solo Recital
Term 2 Solo recitals are on at Saturday 21st June @ 2pm, Saturday 21st June @ 4pm, Sunday 22nd June @ 2pm and Sunday 22nd June @4pm.
These solo performances give the children an opportunity to perform a solo in front of a friendly and supportive crowd to help them build confidence and experience in music performance.
ESS Christmas Performance
We will be performing for the children and staff at the Royal Children’s Hospital on Monday 15th December. We are so grateful for the opportunity.
Suzuki Violin Holiday Program 20-23 January 2025
This is a four full-day holiday program (Monday - Thursday) for Suzuki Violin students from any qualified Suzuki violin teacher in Melbourne. The program aims to extend kids skills by learning from other teachers, focusing on violin technique and musicality, trying new skills or developing current skills in music reading, theory, improvisation etc.
Our staff for this camp includes Sarah Ellison, Stephie-J Lewendon-Lowe, Rumiko Saka and special guests from African Drumming.
Christmas Concert @ Monash Children's Hospital
We are bringing our kids to play Christmas carols for the kids who are doing it tough at Christmas Time.

Kew Gardens performance
Ellison String Studio students will be sharing their music with the residents of the Kew Gardens Aged Care facility on Thursday 3rd October, 2024.

AMEB Violin Workshop
Join us for a 2-half day workshop for AMEB Violin Students looking to improve their technique and practice scales and technical work in a group setting. It’s much more fun and will get your child prepared for exams next year. A really fun Violin holiday program in Melbourne.

Ellison String Studio Violin Students are bringing Christmas Carols and classical music to people at the Royal Melbourne Hospital to share the joy of giving and the joy of Christmas with the patients.
